The gal in the photos is Sami Rusher. Not only did I get to document her experience, but I was fortunate enough to walk into an RCTC classroom with her the next day and observe people's reactions. When a comment was directed toward Sami and her new mowhawk she would simply say, "it's just hair", but we all know it's more than that. Photos were shot with a 35mm lens, developed, and printed on fiber-based paper by Amanda Needles.
