The first night we walked around and did some shopping; however, I still managed to lose $200 playing blackjack. Frustrated with losing we checked out a hookah bar near the UNLV campus. This place was great-lush couches, good music, and great tasting tobacco. Two hookahs later it was time for bed, so back to the hotel to pass out.
The next day we did less gambling and more walking up and down the strip checking out the casinos, finally making it to the newly constructed Wynn hotel and casino. This was not your average place--rooms started out at $400/night--any hotel that had a Ferrari and Mazarati dealership in it was not going to be cheap. On the way back to the hotel we gamble a bit, win money and saw our first celebrity--Jared from Subway! Jared was not looking happy, because some of his Subway fortune was getting lost at the tables. After having our highlight of the trip we called it a night dragging our feet in exhaustion making it back to the room.
We woke up early the next day, had breakfast and left the strip to check out the rest of Las Vegas. We visited a couple of the local skate shops. Unfortunately no skating, but did pass another hookah and being so impressed with the first one, stopped in, got a bite to eat and smoke, then made the journey back to Scottsdale.
