Just did some web stat tallies for June and the search phrases "construction dudes" and "Two Live Crew" came up. Yeah, the same guys who were Banned In The Usa and partied with us at Rookies back in '04 & '05

Blame whoever you want to blame, but they won't be back in Rock-chester in '06. However they will be at the Rock August 4th.

At 6:00 AM this morning I took pictures of the construction on the Silver Lake skatepark progress.

It will be skatable this weekend provided weather cooperates. Some sealwork, welding, grinding sharp edges and seeding the grass planters remain unfinished.

At 7:30am I was properly exhausted from the solo sesh (1.3 MB). Thanks to those construction dudes for the jug of water!

Larry Clark (Kids and Bully fame) is coming out with the film Wassup Rockers.

The story sounds lame and probably ends up being a pseudo-documentary portraying "real life" for disgruntled urban youth. I'm also guessing its targeted towards plywood pushers (yeah look at that silhouette in front of that eyeball on the poster).

I threw up a little after reading the ABOUT THE FILM page. Creepy...

Last month was fun but it'd be a lot more fun if more people came this time! Come one, come all, and bring your best two wheeled friend. It's a good time taking up a lane of traffic with all your bike buddies. There'll probably be food and stuff at Central Park again also.

We all get together EVERY LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH @ Central park at 5:00 PM and try to hit hit the roads by 5:30pm....to exercise and celebrate our right to the road!! (Friday Jun 30, 2006)
